The council's decision notice on the application is dated 1 July 2025. The applicant, Richborough, appealed and the Planning Inspectorate held a public inquiry on 11 November 2025. The appeal was allowed on 6 January 2026.
An outline permission settles the principle of the development and the access. The layout, appearance, scale and landscaping are decided later through reserved matters applications, and the conditions attached to the permission have to be discharged separately. We will list those here as they are submitted so that residents can see what is still to be decided.
